KKNY Summer Camp

The Kid’s Korner Preschool summer camp at Chelsea’s best-kept secret. We are an NAEYC-accredited preschool and nursery school. We are offering a hands on, exciting summer camp for 2017. At our summer camp, children will enjoy arts and crafts, water fun, Spanish by Ms. Lou, cooking, music with Mr. James and Kindergym!  The children will participate in Soccer, Yoga and Mad Science. Children will have an opportunity to participate in each activity 1-2 times per week depending on how many days your child attends. Our backyard brings the country to the city, “paved” with fake grass so that children can take off their shoes, lie down, and look at the clouds. Our calm, quiet space is decorated with birds, butterflies, and sunflowers.

Summer programs offered-

Super Soccer Stars

  • It is our goal to teach soccer skills in a fun, non-competitive, educational environment. Our philosophy is to use soccer to nurture, to build self-confidence, and to develop teamwork in every class. Our specially designed curricula use positive reinforcement and a low child-to-coach ratio to ensure that each child improves at his or her own rate while having endless fun.

Yoga by Karma Kids

  • Our playful yoga class encourages self-expression as well as building social skills. Children will strengthen their bodies as they learn how to focus through challenging poses, fun yoga games, breathing exercises and relaxation techniques.  Kids sing, draw and play yoga in this energy releasing class. It all ends in relaxation time with yummy smelling foot rubs and a peaceful feeling for the rest of the day!

Mad Science

  • Summer Scientists with Mad Science will be full of engaging hands-on learning experiences for all of our little professors. Each workshop will be full of interactive, age-appropriate exploration of lots of different science topics. Every class is designed to captivate the curious nature of young children. Your little ones will take part in engaging demonstrations, perform simple experiments and will discover how science can help us better understand the world around us!
